About / How it works
Welcome to The Nebraska People’s Poll!
The Nebraska Poll is the oldest measure of public opinion in Nebraska. Research Associates has been privileged to administer The Nebraska Poll for most of that time. When the Poll was regularly printed in the Lincoln Journal Star, the Poll was recognized as having a high degree of accuracy.
Following is how this version of The Nebraska Poll works. Every day you can log on to this site and there will be a new question for you to answer. After you have expressed your opinion you will be able to see how others have answered the question. For each question you will only be able to express your opinion once. However, you will be able to encourage your friends and neighbors to participate too.
Each time you answer a new question, you will be asked to enter your email address. The first time you participate, a six-digit verification code will be sent to that address. Please enter the code on this site to verify your email address. No user name or password is needed. Your verification will usually be remembered on the same browser, but you may be asked to verify again on a different browser or after it expires. Next you will be asked to answer five descriptive questions. Your descriptive answers will be saved, so you will not need to enter them again for each new question.
